Pakistan has announced new petrol prices for Tuesday, July 21, after the Petroleum Division issued the latest notification based on recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA). The revised prices include a slight reduction in petrol rates and an increase in diesel prices.

According to the official notification, the price of high-speed diesel has increased by Rs5.71 per litre. As a result, the new diesel price has been set at Rs360.06 per litre. Officials said the revised rate took effect immediately.

The Petroleum Division also announced a Rs0.35 per litre reduction in the price of petrol. Following the adjustment, the new petrol price now stands at Rs315.80 per litre. The small decrease offers limited relief to consumers despite rising fuel costs in recent days.

The government said OGRA determined the revised fuel prices under the country’s daily petroleum pricing mechanism. Officials added that international oil market trends and other pricing factors continue to influence local fuel rates.

The latest adjustment reflects the government’s ongoing policy of reviewing petroleum prices regularly to align domestic rates with global market conditions. Industry experts say daily revisions allow authorities to respond more quickly to fluctuations in international crude oil prices.

The new petrol prices and diesel rates are expected to affect transportation costs and fuel expenses across the country. Businesses and consumers will continue monitoring future price adjustments as international energy markets remain uncertain.
