RawalPindiz finally ended their nightmare run in PSL 11. The team secured their first victory of the season by beating Islamabad United at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi. After eight consecutive losses, RawalPindiz opened their account with a decisive performance. Captain Mohammad Rizwan won the toss and chose to bowl first. That decision proved decisive as they restricted the three-time champions to 137 all out in 20 overs.

Devon Conway top-scored for Islamabad with 40 off 33 balls. Chris Green added a useful 29 off 16 deliveries lower down the order. Mark Chapman chipped in with 23. RawalPindiz shared the wickets around effectively. RawalPindiz opened their account thanks to a collective bowling effort. Mohammad Amir, Dian Forrester, and Saad Masood claimed two wickets each. Asif Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Daryl Mitchell took one apiece.

The chase went smoothly for the first time all season. Captain Mohammad Rizwan led the way with 45 off 38 balls, hitting five fours and a six. Kamran Ghulam made 42 off 30 with five boundaries and one six. Daryl Mitchell and Dian Forrester also made useful contributions. RawalPindiz opened their account by reaching the target with six wickets in hand in the 19th over. Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, and Chris Green picked up one wicket each for United, but the total proved too small to defend.

The result did not change the overall standings. RawalPindiz remain at the bottom of the table with two points from nine matches. Their net run-rate sits at -1.330. But the losing streak is finally over.
