Karachi Kings beats Lahore Qalandars

Karachi Kings kept their playoff hopes alive in PSL 11 with a thrilling victory. The team chased down a challenging 200-run target set by defending champions Lahore Qalandars. This means Karachi Kings beats Lahore Qalandars by five wickets with eight balls to spare. Captain David Warner anchored the innings brilliantly with 63 not out off 44 balls. Khushdil Shah then delivered a stunning late cameo that changed the game entirely.

The chase began on shaky ground. Jason Roy fell for nine in the second over with just 10 runs on the board. Warner steadied the innings through small partnerships with Reeza Hendricks and Salman Ali Agha. Moeen Ali then joined Warner and added 58 runs at a brisk pace. Moeen scored 39 off 17 balls with four sixes. After his dismissal and Azam Khan’s quick exit for 14, Khushdil Shah arrived at the crease. Karachi Kings beats Lahore Qalandars largely because of what happened next.

Khushdil launched a brutal counterattack. The defining moment came in the 18th over when he took 23 runs off Shaheen Shah Afridi. With 11 needed from the last two overs, Khushdil struck back-to-back sixes off Haris Rauf to finish the chase in the penultimate over. He remained unbeaten on 44 off just 14 deliveries, smashing five fours and two sixes. For Lahore, Ubaid Shah took 3/41, but that could not stop the result. Karachi Kings beats Lahore Qalandars as Khushdil produced one of the innings of the tournament.

Earlier, Lahore posted 199/6 after batting first. Fakhar Zaman made 61 off 41 balls. Abdullah Shafique top-scored with 62 off 36. Moeen Ali took 2/26 for Karachi. But the night belonged to Khushdil and Warner.
