Islamabad United storm past Karachi Kings at the National Bank Stadium. The three-time champions chased down 151 runs with eight wickets in hand. They finished the job with 24 balls to spare. Captain Shadab Khan won the toss and bowled first. That decision paid off immediately. Karachi could only manage 150 for 6 in their 20 overs.

Sameer Minhas and Devon Conway set the tone early. The opening pair put together 93 runs in just 10 overs. Minhas smashed 58 off 36 deliveries with 10 fours.
