Pakistan to Tour England for ODI Series in 2027

Pakistan will tour England in May 2027 for a five-match One-Day International series. The Pakistan England ODI series will take place from May 15 to May 26 across five venues. Both teams will use the matches to prepare for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027.

The first ODI will take place in Southampton on May 15. The second match is scheduled for May 19 in Manchester. Fans can expect both teams to begin their preparations for the major tournament.

The third ODI will be played in Leeds on May 21. After that, the fourth match will take place in Chester-le-Street on May 23. The teams will then move to Cardiff for the final game.

The fifth and last ODI of the series is set for May 26 in Cardiff. The five-match contest will give both sides valuable international match practice. It will also help players prepare for the World Cup.

The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 will run from October 4 to November 21. South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia will jointly host the tournament. Teams will aim to build strong combinations before the event.

Pakistan currently holds fifth place in the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings. Meanwhile, England sits in seventh position. These rankings add extra interest to the upcoming series.

Pakistan last toured England for an ODI series in 2021. That tour included three One-Day International matches. The 2027 tour will feature two additional games, making it a longer contest.

The upcoming Pakistan England ODI series will play an important role in both teams’ World Cup preparations. The five scheduled matches will provide competitive cricket before the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 begins.
