Saudi Arabia strongly condemned Iran’s reported attacks on civilian infrastructure in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan. The Iranian attacks prompted the Kingdom to call for an immediate end to military escalation across the region. As a result, Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its support for the Gulf states affected by the reported strikes.
In a statement, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced what it described as continued attacks on civilian and vital facilities. The ministry specifically criticized reported strikes targeting a power generation plant and a water desalination facility in Kuwait. Furthermore, it expressed full solidarity with Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan.
Saudi Arabia also rejected attacks on infrastructure that supports essential public services. The ministry said protecting civilian facilities remains critical for regional security and stability. Therefore, it urged all parties to avoid actions that could increase tensions or endanger civilians.
The Kingdom called for an immediate halt to military escalation across the Middle East. It stressed that reducing tensions would help protect regional peace and safeguard the interests of people throughout the Gulf. Meanwhile, Saudi officials emphasized the importance of preventing further violence.
Kuwait said the reported attacks targeted several civilian sites, including an oil facility and a power and water plant. Authorities reported injuries and damage following the incidents. In addition, firefighters and oil sector workers were injured while responding to the affected facilities.
Bahrain also reported that its air defense systems intercepted a wave of incoming attacks. Jordan’s military said it destroyed ten Iranian missiles before they reached their targets. However, Jordan reported no casualties or material damage from the interceptions.
Emergency crews continued repair and firefighting operations at the affected sites in Kuwait. Meanwhile, authorities across the region remained on high alert as security agencies monitored the situation. International observers also continued to follow developments closely.
The latest Iranian attacks have increased concerns about regional security and the protection of critical infrastructure. Finally, Saudi Arabia repeated its call for an immediate end to military escalation while reaffirming support for Gulf states affected by the reported strikes.
