The Iranian foreign minister also said some people in the US government have turned away from the facts. According to him, they are promoting policies without considering conditions on the ground. He repeated that political calculations should not replace reality.

Araghchi warned that support for what he called reckless aggression would have serious consequences. He said such actions would force President Trump to pay a much higher price for any agreement he hopes to achieve. However, he did not provide further details.

His statement followed fresh comments from President Trump about Iran. Reports said Trump raised the possibility of launching another large-scale military operation. He also claimed Iran had not yet faced its full level of pressure.

According to reports, Trump told Axios that he is considering new military action against Iran. He said future strikes could be larger than those carried out under “Operation Epic Fury.” At the same time, he added that no final decision has been made.

The renewed exchange of statements has increased tensions between Washington and Tehran. Meanwhile, reports noted that members of the US House of Representatives had opposed military action against Iran before Trump’s latest remarks.
