The government also raised the price of high-speed diesel. Diesel now costs Rs. 383.46 per liter after an increase of Rs. 4.80 per liter. The new price applies from the same date.

The latest increase follows another fuel price adjustment announced just one day earlier. In that revision, petrol became Rs. 4.40 per liter more expensive. Diesel also increased by Rs. 3.62 per liter.

The Petroleum Division issued the latest notification announcing the revised prices. The government has not provided additional details beyond the updated fuel rates. Consumers will now pay the new prices at fuel stations nationwide.
