Pakistan confirm England ODI tour after the Pakistan Cricket Board announced a five-match One-Day International series in England during May 2027. The series will serve as a key preparation for both teams ahead of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, helping them test combinations and strengthen their squads before the global event.
The ODI series will begin in Southampton on May 15 before moving to Manchester on May 19. The remaining matches will take place in Leeds on May 21, Chester-le-Street on May 23, and Cardiff on May 26. The busy schedule will allow both teams to evaluate players and refine strategies in competitive conditions.
The series holds extra significance because the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 will run from October 4 to November 21 across South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia. Pakistan currently rank fifth in the ICC ODI standings, while England occupy seventh place. Both teams will aim to build momentum and improve performances before the tournament begins.
Before returning to England for the ODI series in 2027, Pakistan will tour the country next month for a three-match Test series from August 19 to September 13. The assignment will give players another chance to adjust to English conditions and gain valuable experience ahead of future international fixtures.
