Intel Core Series 3 launch targets lower-cost laptops for consumers and small businesses. The new chips follow the higher-end Core Ultra Series 3 release. Unlike the Ultra lineup, these processors focus on affordable notebooks. Intel said the chips suit users who replace PCs every five years. The 18A manufacturing process powers this new lineup. Intel describes this node as its most advanced US-developed logic process.

Performance Improvements
Intel Core Series 3 launch delivers massive performance gains. Compared to a five-year-old Core i7-1185G7 laptop, the improvements are striking. Single-thread performance jumps up to 47 percent. Multi-thread performance climbs up to 41 percent. GPU AI performance improves by 2.8 times. The chips also support up to 40 platform TOPS for AI workloads. Battery life gets serious attention too. Processor power drops by up to 64 percent compared to the previous Core 7 150U.
AI and Connectivity Features
Intel Core Series 3 launch includes modern connectivity throughout. Two Thunderbolt 4 ports come standard. Bluetooth 6 and Wi-Fi 7 support future-proof the devices. All models include 6MB Smart Cache. Most chips use six cores, while the Core 3 304 uses five. Memory support reaches LPDDR5/LPDDR5X 7467 up to 48GB. DDR5 6400 goes up to 64GB. Base power sits at 15W. Turbo power hits 35W across the entire lineup.
Available Models
The lineup includes the following models:
| Processor | Cores | Max Turbo Speed | NPU TOPS | GPU |
