Bilawal Bhutto Calls for Reopening Kashmir Routes

Bilawal Bhutto Kashmir

Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto urged the government to reopen access to Kashmir. The Bilawal Bhutto Kashmir remarks came during an election rally in Dadyal, Azad Kashmir. He said Pakistan should also address restrictions affecting Kashmir if it can help restore peace between the United States and Iran.

Speaking at the rally, Bilawal described the upcoming Azad Kashmir elections as a major test for Pakistan. He argued that political leaders should represent the voices of Kashmiris more effectively. He also stressed that democratic solutions remain the best way to resolve public concerns.

According to Bilawal, every Pakistani and every Kashmiri feels concerned about the current situation. He recalled Benazir Bhutto’s commitment to Kashmir and promised that his party would continue supporting the people of the region.

Earlier, protesters sent him a letter explaining their concerns. In response, he proposed creating a Truth and Reconciliation Commission. He added that protesters should suspend demonstrations if authorities establish the commission. So far, he has not received an official response.

Bilawal argued that authorities should punish only those responsible for any wrongdoing. He said ordinary residents should not suffer because of the actions of a few people. He also emphasized the need to protect businesses and daily life across Azad Kashmir.

Referring to regional issues, Bilawal repeated his criticism of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said his party would continue opposing any attempt to change the status of Kashmir. He also reaffirmed support for the rights of the Kashmiri people.

The PPP chairman questioned recent statements made by federal ministers about Kashmir and refugee seats. He urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to clarify whether those remarks reflected the federal government’s official policy. He also called for greater transparency on the issue.

The Bilawal Bhutto Kashmir statement has become part of the Azad Kashmir election campaign. Political parties continue debating governance, public concerns, and Kashmir policy. Voters will now decide these issues in the upcoming elections.
