Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said dialogue remains the only solution to Balochistan’s political challenges. The Balochistan dialogue message came during a meeting with Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti in Karachi. As a result, Bilawal stressed the importance of political engagement to address the province’s issues.
During the meeting at Zardari House, Sarfraz Bugti briefed Bilawal on the administrative and political situation in Balochistan. He also updated him on the recent security situation in the province. Furthermore, the chief minister shared details about the government’s response to recent incidents.
Bugti said the provincial government supported the families affected by the Ziarat tragedy and worked to address their concerns. He added that authorities had established a judicial commission to investigate the incident. Therefore, the government aims to ensure a transparent inquiry.
The chief minister also announced that Balochistan would soon host an All Parties Conference (APC). He said political parties inside and outside parliament would receive invitations. Meanwhile, the conference aims to encourage broader political participation and discussion.
Bilawal paid tribute to the personnel of the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC), and police who lost their lives in the line of duty. He said he understood the pain of the families who lost loved ones in the recent incidents. In addition, he praised the chief minister’s efforts to support the affected families and advance the dialogue process.
The PPP chairman repeated that negotiations remain the only way to resolve Balochistan’s political issues. He said his party believes in dialogue with all political forces, regardless of whether they are in government or opposition. Moreover, he emphasized the need for inclusive political engagement.
Bilawal also reaffirmed his party’s commitment to fighting terrorism. He said the nation must remain united against security threats. At the same time, he stressed that political dialogue should continue alongside efforts to maintain peace and stability.
The renewed call for Balochistan dialogue highlights the PPP’s position on resolving political disputes through negotiations. Finally, Bilawal said meaningful discussions among all stakeholders offer the best path toward lasting peace and stability in the province.
