Furthermore, his accuracy proved devastating against Pakistan’s lower order. Kemar Roach and Justin Greaves added two wickets each. Meanwhile, Shamar Joseph claimed one.

Pakistan faced an uphill task chasing 211. They started poorly losing Imam-ul-Haq early for three runs. Azan Awais fell next without scoring. Consequently, Pakistan reached 25/3 after just six overs. Babar Azam alone resisted the onslaught with an unbeaten 58 off 107 balls. However, he lacked support from the rest.

Babar put together a 43-run partnership with Mohammad Abbas for the 10th wicket. This stand delayed inevitable defeat but couldn’t prevent it. Abbas contributed 23 runs. Still, no other batter reached double figures except Rizwan’s 11. Therefore, Pakistan’s batting lineup proved thoroughly inadequate.

West Indies’ second innings set up the victory. They resumed from 126/7 on day four. Joseph and Roach stretched their partnership to 61 runs. Joseph top-scored with a 27-ball 38 including four sixes. Roach managed 18 from 63 deliveries. This lower-order resistance added respectability to West Indies’ 181-run total.

Mohammad Abbas fought back with 5/22 for Pakistan. His performance gave Pakistan some consolation. Fellow pacers Mohammad Ali and Khurram Shahzad took two each. Aamir Jamal claimed one wicket. However, Abbas’s efforts came too late.

West Indies’ first-innings total of 311 proved decisive. Pakistan managed only 282 in reply. This 29-run lead appeared slim initially. Still, the home side’s bowling proved superior when chasing became necessary.
