The Cocaine Queen Pinky case draws Senate scrutiny as lawmakers demand judges, politicians, and bureaucrats face full investigation

Pakistan’s most talked-about drug case has reached the Senate floor. The Senate Standing Committee on Interior has ordered a sweeping investigation into the network of the country’s biggest cocaine dealer, known as Cocaine Queen Pinky. Lawmakers are not stopping at the dealer herself. They want every name in the supply chain — including judges, bureaucrats, politicians, and even students, if evidence exists in official records.

The tone inside the committee was firm. Members demanded that the Interior Secretary leave nothing out. No individual, regardless of status or rank, would be exempt from scrutiny. Moreover, one senator went a step further. He recommended drug testing as part of the investigation process. To prove his point, he volunteered to be tested first.

Law enforcement agencies are now under direct pressure. The Anti-Narcotics Force and other relevant institutions have been ordered to submit complete records of the alleged network and supply chain. Officials must also detail where Pinky allegedly supplied narcotics and to whom. Furthermore, the Interior Ministry and all concerned departments must hand over full documentation to determine the true scope of the case.

The committee has also summoned ANF officials to appear at the next meeting. They must bring a detailed briefing along with supporting operational and investigative records. Therefore, the next session could produce significant revelations about how deep this network runs.

Beyond Pinky’s case, the committee sounded a broader alarm. Members stressed that rising drug-related concerns across Pakistan demand stronger enforcement. They called for a zero-tolerance approach and warned that no political pressure or social status would be allowed to shield anyone. The message, finally, was clear — this investigation will go wherever the evidence leads.
