The Pakistani government has increased fuel prices once again, raising the cost of petrol and diesel from July 24. The latest fuel prices revision adds Rs4.40 per liter to petrol and Rs3.62 per liter to diesel. As a result, consumers across the country will pay higher rates for both fuels.

The Petroleum Division issued a new notification confirming the revised prices. According to the official announcement, the price of petrol has increased by Rs4.40 per liter. Therefore, the new petrol price now stands at Rs331.52 per liter.

Meanwhile, the government also raised the price of high-speed diesel. The notification states that diesel has become Rs3.62 more expensive per liter. As a result, the new diesel price has reached Rs378.66 per liter.

The revised prices will take effect from July 24. The latest increase follows another recent adjustment in petroleum product prices. Consumers will now face another rise in transport and fuel costs.

Only a day earlier, the government had already announced another increase in fuel prices. At that time, petrol became Rs6.39 more expensive per liter. In addition, the diesel price went up by Rs7.83 per liter.

These back-to-back price hikes have pushed fuel costs even higher within a short period. The government has officially announced both increases through separate notifications. However, the latest notification confirms the new rates that will apply from July 24.

The Petroleum Division released the updated figures as part of the government’s regular fuel price review. The notification includes revised prices for both petrol and diesel. Meanwhile, motorists and transport operators will now have to pay the higher rates at fuel stations.
