The Pakistan Air Force is hiring. PAF has announced commissioned officer jobs 2026 across multiple branches and commission types. Therefore, interested candidates should register immediately as the Pakistan Air Force jobs 2026 window opens July 22. Online registration begins on the official PAF website. Candidates must possess a NADRA Smart Card to apply. Moreover, two commission pathways exist: Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission/Special Purpose Short Service Commission.

Eligibility Criteria
Permanent Commission candidates must be between 16 and 22 years old on April 15, 2027. Additionally, applicants must be unmarried. Furthermore, they need at least 65% marks in F.Sc, A-Level, DAE, or equivalent qualifications in relevant subjects. They must also meet required educational, physical, and medical standards.
Short Service Commission age limits vary by branch. Most range between 20 to 26 years or 20 to 29 years depending on the role. Candidates with degrees in Education, Engineering, Accounts, IT, Computer Science, Management Sciences, English, Psychology, Mathematics, and related fields can apply. Therefore, diverse academic backgrounds qualify for consideration.
Selection Process
The recruitment follows multiple stages. First, candidates complete online registration on the PAF website. Meanwhile, an intelligence test comes next, followed by an academic test in relevant subjects. Subsequently, the PAF conducts initial medical examination and interviews at Information and Selection Centres.
Shortlisted candidates advance to ISSB testing. After that, final medical examination follows. Finally, Air Headquarters makes the final selection decision. Therefore, the process demands sustained performance across all phases.
How to Apply
Interested candidates can register online through joinpaf.gov.pk from July 22 to August 3, 2026. After registration, applicants must visit their selected PAF Information and Selection Centre on the date specified on the registration slip.
Bring original CNIC or Form B to the initial test. Additionally, bring educational certificates and recent photographs. Finally, all required documents must accompany the candidate when appearing for testing.
