Over 5,000 Pakistanis Return from Iran Amid Iran-Israel Conflict: Latest Repatriation Updates 2026

In a significant repatriation drive amid the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict, over 5,000 Pakistanis have returned safely to Pakistan through the Taftan and Gabd-Rimdan borders in just 16 days. According to district authorities in Quetta, a total of 5,047 Pakistani nationals – including pilgrims (zaireen), laborers, Iranian-based students and businessmen – crossed back home as tensions escalated between Iran and Israel.

On Monday alone, 8 Pakistanis entered via the Taftan border (taking the 16-day total to 3,456), while 84 arrived through the Gabd-Rimdan border (pushing that route’s tally to 1,591). This brings the daily combined figure to 92 returnees, highlighting Pakistan’s swift response to ensure the safety of its citizens caught in the Iran-Israel conflict.

The returns come as Pakistani authorities continue to monitor the situation and facilitate safe passage for those stranded due to the regional unrest. The development underscores growing concerns for Pakistani pilgrims, workers and students living in Iran amid missile exchanges and travel disruptions caused by the Iran-Israel conflict.

Pakistanis return from Iran continues to trend as families anxiously await updates. Authorities have urged all remaining citizens to register with Pakistani missions in Iran for coordinated evacuation support. This latest wave of repatriation from Iran not only brings relief to thousands of families but also reflects Pakistan’s proactive diplomatic and border management efforts during the Iran-Israel conflict 2026.

Stay tuned for further updates on Pakistan-Iran border developments and the safe return of all Pakistani nationals.
