Oppo, OnePlus, Vivo & iQOO Price Hikes Hit China – Pakistan Buyers, Act Before March 18!

Smartphone prices in China are rising as Oppo and OnePlus have already begun adjustments, with Vivo and iQOO confirming new pricing effective tomorrow (March 18). Specific models will see increases of ¥500–1,000 ($70–140) due to skyrocketing semiconductor and memory component costs driven by AI demand. While the official statements apply to China, global markets including Pakistan are likely to feel the impact soon. Pakistani tech media has already highlighted the news, warning buyers to lock in current prices before the wave reaches local stores. Pricing pressure across the smartphone industry is expected to continue in the coming months.

The era of stable smartphone prices appears to be ending. BBK Electronics group brands — Oppo, OnePlus, Vivo, and iQOO — have cited “continuous and substantial increase in global semiconductor and storage costs” in their official statements.

In Pakistan, where these brands dominate the mid-range and flagship segments, the China price adjustments could translate into Rs 8,000–20,000 hikes on popular models within weeks. If you’re eyeing a Vivo X-series, iQOO gaming phone, Oppo Reno, or OnePlus flagship, now is the time to buy before the new pricing filters through importers.

Stay tuned — we’ll update with exact Pakistan price changes as soon as official distributors announce them.
