The assurance was given by the Kuwaiti Ambassador, Nasser Abdulrahman Jassim Al-Mutairi, during a high-level meeting with Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik.

The Petroleum Division confirmed that the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation is now committed to facilitating the delivery of diesel and jet fuel specifically for vessels carrying the Pakistani flag. This move is expected to stabilize the domestic energy supply chain amidst the volatile situation in the Middle East.

Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik expressed deep gratitude for this gesture, noting that Pakistan has relied on Kuwait for its petroleum needs—particularly diesel—for over fifty years.
