Hajj 2027 Registration App Now Open For Pakistani Pilgrims

Hajj 2027 registration app

Pakistan has opened mandatory registration for Hajj 2027, allowing intending pilgrims to complete the process from home. The Hajj 2027 registration app is now available on both Android and iOS platforms for convenience.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf formally launched the registration process on June 22. Therefore, applications can now begin flowing in immediately. Applicants can register through the app, the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ online Hajj Management System, or by visiting a participating bank branch.

It’s important to understand that this is the first registration stage rather than the final Hajj booking. Only registered applicants will later submit a Hajj 2027 application when the booking stage begins. So early registration is mandatory for anyone planning to travel under either the government or private scheme.

Registration is Free

The government will not charge applicants any fee for Hajj 2027 registration. This removes a financial barrier that many pilgrims face at the outset. Registration is mandatory for people planning to travel under either the government or private Hajj scheme.

Applicants will be able to choose between the two schemes after completing the initial registration. Meanwhile, the government will process bookings on a first-come, first-served basis until Pakistan’s allocated Hajj quota fills up. So early registration offers a strategic advantage.

Hajj 2027 Registration App Features

The Hajj 2027 registration app allows applicants to view and verify their personal information, bank account details, group information, mehram details, nominee information, and helper information. Additionally, the app displays other facilities available to registered pilgrims.

Recent versions of the app also include applicant information, training schedules, QR codes, and picture and passport upload functions. Furthermore, the app offers health forms, accommodation details, prayers in Urdu, English, and Arabic, and lost-and-found information. Finally, the app also provides private Hajj applicants with access to their application and package details.

Passport Requirement

A passport is not required during the initial registration stage. However, applicants will need a valid Pakistani passport when formal Hajj bookings begin. The minister’s announcement on June 22 stated that passports must remain valid until at least November 26, 2027.

However, earlier ministry guidance and the registration information published by Allied Bank cite November 16, 2027. So applicants should confirm the final passport validity requirement with the Ministry of Religious Affairs before the booking stage arrives.

Costs and Packages

The government has not yet announced the final Hajj 2027 package cost, installment schedule, booking dates, or other terms. These details will come later under the Hajj Policy 2027. Therefore, registered applicants will have time to plan their finances before making a final commitment.

Registered applicants will then proceed with the government scheme or select an approved private Hajj operator. Additionally, the religious affairs minister said Pakistan remains in negotiations with Saudi Arabia over a possible increase in its Hajj quota. So the final numbers could shift before bookings actually open.
