Chery Master Pakistan has officially launched the Chery Q in Pakistan, adding a new all-electric model to the local market. The company unveiled the vehicle on September 18 as the Pakistan Auto Show opened in Lahore. Additionally, the three-day event brings automotive companies, manufacturers, and new vehicles together, and it will continue through September 20.

Chery positions the Q as an electric urban car built around a spacious cabin, modern technology, and strong safety features. The vehicle measures 1,811 mm in width and rides on a 2,700 mm wheelbase. Meanwhile, rear passengers get 152 mm of knee room, which adds noticeable comfort for a car in this segment.

Under the hood, the Q uses rear-wheel drive and runs on a 42.7 kWh battery. Chery claims a range of up to 400 kilometers under the NEDC cycle, and it states an efficiency rating of 9.4 km/kWh. Therefore, the Q positions itself as a practical option for daily city driving rather than long-distance travel.

The Q also comes packed with several technology features, including mobile app control, voice commands, and 6.6 kW Vehicle-to-Load capability. For safety, Chery equips the car with six airbags and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems covering 21 functions. It also includes a 540-degree high-definition camera system and automatic parking. Furthermore, the cabin houses a 15.6-inch 2.5K display alongside Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. The car offers three separate driving modes as well.

Price and Booking

Chery Master Pakistan opened bookings for the Q earlier this month, requiring a Rs. 1.5 million booking amount from interested buyers. Still, the company has now confirmed the Chery Q price in Pakistan at Rs. 5,554,000. This places the vehicle among the more premium electric offerings currently entering the local market. Instead of competing purely on affordability, Chery appears to be positioning the Q around features and technology.
