Hajj flights from Pakistan start

Hajj flights from Pakistan start today, April 18, 2026. The Ministry of Religious Affairs announced the commencement of operations. The flight schedule will continue until May 21. Thousands of pilgrims will travel to Hijaz, including Medina and Mecca. Four cities launched flights on the very first day. Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Multan sent pilgrims immediately.

A total of 468 flights will operate under the government Hajj scheme. Around 119,000 Pakistani pilgrims will travel through this program. The group includes 67,230 men and 51,846 women. The operation spans 34 days in total. The first 15 days focus exclusively on Medina-bound pilgrims. A total of 186 flights will land in Medina. Jeddah-bound flights start from May 4, totaling 282 flights.

Hajj flights from Pakistan use multiple airlines for the operation. Pakistan International Airlines leads the effort. Airblue, AirSial, and Saudi Arabian Airlines also participate. Flights will depart from eight cities across the country. Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Multan, Sialkot, Faisalabad, and Sukkur all host departure points. The first long-Hajj flight to Medina is scheduled for May 7. The final flight will depart on May 21.

Pilgrims can check their flight details through the Pak Hajj 2026 app. The ministry’s website also provides schedule information. Authorities advised all pilgrims to stay updated via the app. Individual flight schedules will be communicated directly to each traveler. The annual Hajj operation has officially begun.
