Bangladesh Players Receive Partial NOCs For PSL Season 11

Bangladesh Players Receive Partial NOCs For PSL Season 11

The Bangladesh Cricket Board officially granted partial NOCs to several star players for the eleventh edition of the Pakistan Super League. This decision balances lucrative franchise commitments with essential national team duties.

According to Bangladeshi media, the board prioritized the upcoming home series against New Zealand, starting in mid-April. Consequently, players like Mustafizur Rahman and Rishad Hossain will only participate in specific tournament phases.

Mustafizur Rahman, a key signing for Lahore Qalandars, received a split NOC in two distinct parts. He is permitted to play until April 12 and will rejoin the league after April 24.

Other contracted players, including Nahid Rana, Shoriful Islam, and Tanzid Hasan, have also received restricted permissions. They must return to Bangladesh by April 12 to prepare for the critical World Cup qualification matches.

The New Zealand tour includes three ODIs scheduled for April 17, 20, and 23, followed by a T20I series. BCB officials confirmed that players were exempted from certain T20Is to accommodate their PSL schedules.

While the national training camp begins on March 27, PSL-bound players are allowed to skip the initial sessions. This flexible policy aims to support player growth while protecting Bangladesh’s international cricket interests.
