Iran Blames US For Attacks Near Civilian Areas In Gulf

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated in a recent interview that the United States is to blame for collateral damage.

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated in a recent interview that the United States is to blame for collateral damage. He argued that American military movements have endangered local civilian populations.

Araghchi informed an Arab television channel that U.S. forces have reportedly moved from their official military bases. These troops are now allegedly stationed within civilian hotels and various residential areas.

The Foreign Minister emphasized that Iran specifically targets locations where American military installations or personnel are present. This tactical shift by the U.S. has placed nearby civilian residents at risk.

He admitted that some targeted locations were unfortunately situated close to populated urban centers within the Gulf. This proximity has caused significant distress and harm to the local people in the region.

Araghchi firmly placed the entire blame for starting the war on February 28 on the United States. He insisted that Washington’s aggressive policies triggered the current wave of regional instability.

The Iranian official concluded by stating that responsibility for any civilian suffering lies solely with the Pentagon. Iran continues to maintain its stance against foreign military presence across the Middle East.
