Xiaomi just revolutionized smartphone battery technology. The company launched the Redmi Note 17 Pro series globally featuring dramatic improvements. Therefore, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max battery represents Xiaomi’s largest smartphone battery ever.

Both models bring larger batteries alongside upgraded processors and durability. Prices start at $399 for the standard Pro. Meanwhile, the Pro Max starts at $499.

Design and Display

Both phones share impressive display technology. A 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display delivers exceptional visual quality. The 2772×1280 resolution combines with 120Hz refresh rates smoothly. Additionally, 12-bit colors and 3,500 nits peak brightness enhance visibility.

Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects both displays. Furthermore, Xiaomi’s REDMI Titan Structure reinforces durability. Both models carry IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings in supported markets.

However, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max battery reaches considerably further. Most global markets receive a massive 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. This represents the largest battery Xiaomi has ever used in a smartphone. Some regions including parts of Europe and Australia receive 9,210mAh variants instead.

The Pro Max supports 100W HyperCharge alongside 27W wired reverse charging. Xiaomi claims up to three days of regular use. Additionally, just 20 minutes of charging provides enough power for a full day.
