A Pakistan fuel price reduction is on the way as global crude oil drops to a three-month low after the US-Iran peace deal takes effect

Relief at the fuel pump may be closer than expected. Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik indicated on Tuesday that good news on petroleum product prices is coming soon. He was speaking to Geo News. The minister acknowledged that the public has endured significant hardship due to the Iran-US conflict. Fuel costs rose sharply during the war and strained household budgets across the country.

Malik confirmed that global crude oil prices have dropped to a three-month low. Furthermore, he said there is a firm commitment to reduce fuel prices by as much as possible. This commitment comes with a direct directive from the Prime Minister himself.

The timing connects directly to Pakistan’s diplomatic breakthrough. Iranian crude oil is now expected to re-enter global markets following the Islamabad MoU. Therefore, the peace deal brokered by Pakistan is already producing economic dividends beyond the geopolitical sphere.

Additionally, Malik credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar for their contributions to regional stability. He noted that the international community is acknowledging Pakistan’s role in facilitating the US-Iran agreement.
