Pakistan will begin a unique diplomatic initiative using its most prized agricultural export. The country will dispatch nearly 34.5 tonnes of mangoes to 76 international destinations from July 2 under the Prime Minister Mango Diplomacy 2026 initiative. According to official documents issued by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, this represents a significant expansion of soft diplomacy efforts.

The documents show that officials will send a total of 34,480 kilograms of mangoes to international destinations. The fruit will arrive in 6,896 boxes of 5 kilograms each. Therefore, careful packaging ensures quality during transit. The shipments will go on behalf of the prime minister to heads of state, governments, and dignitaries. So the initiative carries official governmental weight and prestige.

MG Agri Foods (Pvt.) Ltd., a Khanewal-based mango exporter, will handle the shipments. Additionally, Al Raaziq International (Pvt.) Ltd. has been appointed as the freight forwarding agent. Countries to Receive Pakistani Mangos

Among the largest consignments, Saudi Arabia is set to receive 3,500 kilograms. Furthermore, Türkiye will get 2,250 kilograms. The United Kingdom and China will each receive 2,000 kilograms. Therefore, major regional and global powers receive substantial amounts.

Qatar and the United Arab Emirates have each been allocated 1,500 kilograms. Additionally, Bahrain receives 1,375 kilograms and the United States gets 1,250 kilograms. Kuwait and Oman are each listed for 1,000 kilograms. Meanwhile, Iran has been allocated 875 kilograms and Kazakhstan 800 kilograms. So distribution covers diverse regions from the Middle East to Central Asia.

TDAP has asked the Department of Plant Protection, airport managers, customs authorities, and the Anti-Narcotics Force to make necessary arrangements. The authority has also sought contact details of designated focal persons to ensure smooth coordination. Therefore, multiple government agencies are coordinating this initiative. According to the documents, the bulk of consignments may dispatch through Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore, Multan International Airport, and Islamabad International Airport. The official correspondence states that shipments carry “No Commercial Value.” The government is sending them solely for diplomatic and promotional purposes.
