MG Motor Pakistan has officially unveiled its newest model at its Lahore facility. The All-New MG HS introduces two new variants to Pakistan’s rapidly evolving New Energy Vehicle market. This launch marks MG’s first major advancement in design and technology since its entry into the country. When MG launches All-New MG HS, it brings Hybrid+ and Super Hybrid options to local consumers. CEO Jianqiang Shao expressed excitement about bringing more options and innovation to Pakistan.

The HS Hybrid+ redefines the conventional hybrid experience. Its electric motor is 40 percent more powerful than its petrol engine, delivering smoother, EV-like acceleration. The Super Hybrid, a plug-in hybrid, offers up to 135 km of electric-only range. This makes a battery-powered driving lifestyle increasingly practical in urban centres. The introductory price for the MG HS Hybrid+ is PKR 9,499,000. The Super Hybrid variant costs PKR 10,199,000. Now that MG launches All-New MG HS, customers have more choices than ever before.

Faisal Afridi, Chairman of MG Automotive Pakistan, spoke at the event. He said this is just the beginning. In partnership with SAIC, the company plans to bring new models to Pakistan, ranging from hatchbacks to sedans. The Lahore facility has the capacity to expand production. MG aims to begin exports in the near future. The company wants to contribute meaningfully to Pakistan’s economy. The long-term ambition includes recognition as a company that has significantly supported GDP growth.

Since helping establish the modern NEV segment in Pakistan, MG Motor has shaped a market that has attracted several global entrants. This growing competition reflects rising consumer interest in electrified mobility across the country.
