Digital Skills Training for Islamabad Teachers

The Federal Directorate of Education has launched a new training program for school teachers in Islamabad. The program focuses on graphic design, video editing, and digital tools. Consequently, FDE launches digital skills training for Islamabad teachers to modernize their classroom capabilities. According to a notification issued by the FDE, teachers from educational institutions across the federal capital will receive training in Canva and other IT related programs. The training sessions will also occur during weekly holidays as part of this initiative.

Under the schedule issued by the FDE, the first workshops will take place on May 8 and May 9. These fall on Friday and Saturday. Therefore, FDE launches digital skills training for Islamabad teachers with daily sessions scheduled from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The training program will continue from May 8 to May 15 in different sectors of Islamabad. Officials said the initiative aims to equip teachers with modern digital tools for better classroom engagement.

The notification stated that 430 teachers from model colleges and schools will participate in the workshops. These institutions are located in Urban, Sihala, Tarnol, Bhara Kahu, and Nilore sectors. FDE launches digital skills training for Islamabad teachers to help them create engaging presentations and educational content. Canva training will enable teachers to design professional looking materials. Video editing skills will help them produce multimedia lessons.

The program runs for eight days across the federal capital. Teachers will learn practical skills they can apply immediately in their classrooms. This initiative represents a significant investment in teacher development.
