According to the team management, the batter injured his lower back while training. Medical staff immediately assessed his condition. He later underwent an MRI scan and a detailed medical examination.

Following the assessment, doctors advised Abdullah Fazal to begin a rehabilitation program. As a result, he has been ruled out of both the West Indies and England Test series. The team has not announced a return date.

The injury is a setback for Pakistan ahead of an important overseas schedule. The coaching staff will now prepare the remaining squad for the challenging Test matches. Team officials are expected to decide on any replacement separately.
