The Pakistan Air Force honored Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed at a special ceremony held at Air Headquarters in Islamabad. The event marked the first anniversary of Marka e Haq. Consequently, PAF honored Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb on Marka e Haq anniversary for his professional excellence and leadership. Officials also highlighted his key role in the coordinated and effective use of air power, particularly in mission planning and force allocation during the May conflict with India.
Addressing the ceremony, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu said the PAF demonstrated its unmatched capability, resilience, and dominance during Marka e Haq. The PAF upheld its legacy of being second to none. Therefore, PAF honored Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb on Marka e Haq anniversary as part of a tribute to personnel who played significant roles in the mission. The air chief said Pakistan’s success resulted from a unified national approach. The PAF conducted a full spectrum multi domain operation for the first time in the history of air warfare. The operation targeted several high value and high visibility targets with precision.
The air chief also praised Pakistan’s cyber teams for disrupting enemy cyber security systems and operational infrastructure during the conflict. He further stated that the PAF’s homegrown kill chain successfully integrated operational elements into a single force package. He added that the leadership of Syed Asim Munir and the country’s leadership also played important roles in securing victory. The ceremony recognized Aurangzeb Ahmed for his contributions during the May conflict.
The air chief said the Pakistan Air Force would continue preparing for future challenges. The PAF remains a symbol of pride for the nation.
