They now hold six wins in seven matches. Captain Babar Azam decided to field first. That decision paid immediate dividends. Quetta could only manage 154 all out in their 20 overs. A modest target for a red-hot chasing side.

The chase began with flair. Mohammad Haris and Babar put together 75 runs inside nine overs. Haris smashed 35 off 28 deliveries with five fours and a six. Saud Shakeel dismissed him eventually. But the damage was already done. Babar then joined Kusal Mendis for a 49-run partnership. Mendis contributed 21 before Alzarri Joseph removed him. Babar held his ground firmly throughout.
