Gold fell for the fifth day in a row in Pakistan on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The price of 24-karat gold dropped Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 422,036 per tola, according to rates from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Over five days, gold has lost Rs. 17,000 per tola. It was Rs. 439,036 before the slide began on Tuesday. The month’s high was Rs. 442,036 on October 10, so gold now sits Rs. 20,000 below that, a fall of about 4.5 percent.
The daily losses were Rs. 3,600 on Tuesday, Rs. 900 on Wednesday and Rs. 3,000 on Thursday. Friday brought the biggest drop, Rs. 7,000, which took gold to Rs. 424,536.
Ten grams of 24-karat gold fell Rs. 2,144 to Rs. 361,827 on Saturday. Ten grams of 22-karat gold lost Rs. 1,966 and now costs Rs. 331,686. Silver slipped Rs. 7 to Rs. 5,858 per tola.
The local market followed the world price. Gold fell $25 to $3,995 an ounce internationally. Daily Pakistan reported it at $4,284 on September 27, so it has dropped about $289, or 6.7 percent, in four weeks.
A buyer of two tolas of pure gold now pays about Rs. 40,000 less than at the October 10 high. For five tolas, the gap is about Rs. 100,000. Jewellery costs more than these rates because shops add making charges, and many pieces are 22-karat.
Other price websites show lower figures for the same days, so ask your jeweller for the day’s rate before you pay.
