United Motors has officially announced a major addition to Pakistan’s automotive market. The Jetour T2 PHEV launch introduces a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle combining electric driving with gasoline engine convenience. The hybrid SUV offers extended range capabilities for Pakistani consumers seeking alternative powertrain options.
The Jetour T2 PHEV launch features a 1.5-liter TGDI engine paired with a 3-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission. Additionally, the SUV uses a front-wheel-drive system for improved traction. The hybrid powertrain produces a combined output of 360 horsepower and 610 Nm of torque. Therefore, performance rivals traditional gasoline SUVs while offering hybrid efficiency.
The SUV houses an 18.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. This battery provides a claimed 90-kilometer pure electric range under NEDC testing.
