The maintenance is necessary to fix the fault in the submarine cable. The repair should improve the overall quality and reliability of PTCL’s internet services in the long run. The company is working with the International Cable Consortium to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. However, users should prepare for occasional disruptions throughout the eight day period.
PTCL has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to its customers during this period. The company has assured that the necessary repairs are being carried out to restore the integrity of the submarine cable. Better service performance should arrive once the maintenance completes on May 18. Until then, users should plan their internet usage carefully. Evening hours will likely see the worst slowdowns. Freelancers and remote workers may need to adjust their schedules.
