Peshawar Zalmi beat Quetta Gladiators to stay top in PSL standings with another strong win. The match took place during the Pakistan Super League season in Karachi. As a result, Zalmi secured their sixth victory and maintained their dominant position.

The game began with Peshawar Zalmi winning the toss and choosing to field first. Quetta Gladiators then came out to bat but struggled to build a big total. Their innings ended at 154 runs in 20 overs after losing all wickets.

Among Quetta’s batters, Hasan Nawaz scored 37 runs, while Rilee Rossouw added 26. Additionally, Khawaja Nafay made 20 runs, and captain Saud Shakeel contributed 16. However, none of the players managed to convert their starts into a big score.

On the bowling side, Sufiyan Muqeem and Mohammad Basit led the attack for Zalmi. Both bowlers took three wickets each and helped restrict Quetta to a manageable total. Therefore, Zalmi entered the chase with confidence.

In response, Zalmi chased the target of 155 runs comfortably with nine balls to spare. Babar Azam played a brilliant unbeaten innings of 71 runs to guide his team home. Meanwhile, Mohammad Haris scored 35, while Kusal Mendis added 21, and Aaron Hardie chipped in with 18 runs.

In conclusion, Peshawar Zalmi beat Quetta Gladiators and stayed top in PSL standings with six wins. The team remains unbeaten with 13 points after seven matches, including one washed-out game. On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators sit in fifth place with only two victories.
