Several Bollywood celebrities have reacted after the CJP protest success and the reported resignation of India’s Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Many actors shared messages on social media to congratulate the protesting students. They praised the youth for continuing their campaign and called the outcome an important moment.
Actress Sonakshi Sinha celebrated the development in an Instagram video. She told young protesters they had achieved something remarkable. She also apologized for underestimating Generation Z and said she wished she belonged to the same generation because of their determination.
Actress Alia Bhatt also shared her reaction through an Instagram Story. She wrote, “Generation Z stepped forward, and the rest is history.” Earlier, she had said the students were speaking not only for themselves but also for everyone who supported their movement and future generations.
Actor Ibrahim Ali Khan also posted a message on Instagram. He wrote, “Glad your voice was heard. Ho gaya bro.” According to Indian media, his words echoed Salman Khan’s earlier appeal asking Sonam Wangchuk to end his hunger strike with the phrase, “Sonam, ho gaya bro.”
Sara Ali Khan also responded through her Instagram Story. She shared the single word “Democracy” along with heart, Indian flag, and folded hands emojis. Her brief message showed support for the outcome of the student movement.
Veteran actress Shabana Azmi described the reported resignation as a major victory for students. However, she said the struggle should continue and urged people to keep supporting peaceful resistance. Actor Prakash Raj also congratulated the protesters and everyone who stood with the movement.
Priyanka Chopra reacted by sharing a social media post about the reported resignation after nationwide student protests and Sonam Wangchuk’s 26-day hunger strike.
