Samsung has offered an early look at the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 through a new Spider-Man: Brand New Day promotional video. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 teaser highlights a wider design and hints at camera improvements. Samsung plans to reveal the device officially during Galaxy Unpacked on July 22.

The teaser shows Spider-Man using a Galaxy phone while fighting crime. The phone survives several tough situations. Samsung uses these scenes to highlight the device’s durability. The video ends with the words, “A brand new shape for a brand new day.”

Samsung blurred the phone throughout the video. However, the teaser strongly points to the Galaxy Z Fold. The company also briefly showed the Galaxy Z Flip 8. Even so, the Fold model remains the center of attention.

Earlier this week, Samsung shared another promotional image linked to Galaxy Unpacked and the new Spider-Man movie. The image showed a thinner and wider device. It also revealed dual rear cameras and hardware buttons near the top edge.

Reports suggest Samsung will introduce three foldable smartphones this year. The lineup may include the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8. The wider Fold model offers a larger outer display that feels more like a regular smartphone.

Users can perform everyday tasks more comfortably with the redesigned cover screen. When they unfold the device, they get a large tablet-style display. Industry reports compare the design to the original Google Pixel Fold and Huawei’s passport-style foldables.

Samsung may also introduce several new products during Galaxy Unpacked. Reports suggest the company will unveil the Galaxy Watch 9, Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, and Galaxy Glasses powered by Google’s Android XR platform. Samsung could also announce the smart glasses’ release date.
